Tiverton Junior Basketball

The Tiverton Junior Basketball League Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 5:30 pm at White's of Westport. Ticket prices are $19.50 each for adults and $15.50 each for all children.

Banquet tickets will be sold on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6pm-7pm at the Middle School and on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6pm-7pm at the Pocasset School Gym. This will be the last two dates tickets will be available. If you cannot make either of these two dates contact Joe Perry at 401-624-3370 to make other arrangements.

We are asking for donations to raffle off at our Awards Banquet mentioned above at White's of Westport. All proceeds will go to the Tiverton Junior Basketball League Scholarship Fund. We did not have a fundraiser this year and this will hopefully fund the scholarship program. Please ask everyone you know if they are interested in donating something or making up a basket of things that we can raffle off at the banquet. Beginning April 1,2012, scholarship applications are available for the Steven Knight Memorial Scholarship and the Tiverton Junior Basketball League at the Tiverton High School Guidance office or by calling Joe Perry at 401-624-3370. Any graduating senior who played in the league for 3 years or more is eligible, or a graduating senior who had a family member volunteer in the league for at least 10 years or more as a coach, assistance coach or referee is also eligible.

Volunteers

Dedicated Volunteers run the Tiverton Junior Basketball League. Help from Parents, Aunts, Uncles, etc. is necessary to provide your children an opportunity to play. We need your help in Scoring, Coaching and Refereeing. If you’d like to help but don’t know how, we’d be glad to provide instruction.
